A bit overpriced for what you get. The rooms are clean but the beds are not comfortable. There is no AC and no lift. The breakfast is mediocre and the Internet as well. It's all just ok.

The location was great, Notting Hill is simply beautiful and Portobello road market is a must-see! The staff was very friendly.

The front desk staff was great! The two days we were there, we had two clerks. One was a really funny and helpful young man of Indian descent. He cracked jokes, loaned us plug adapters for our electronics, and found us an Indian restaurant nearby since that's what we wanted for dinner one of the nights. The other front desk guy was also very helpful. He called a cab for us the morning we needed to head to the airport to head home.

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient. I must be pedantic and say that for me "continental breakfast" should include rolls as well as croissants. However cereals with fruit, toast and coffee were a very pleasant start to the day. I particularly appreciated the fact that in 10 minutes one could reach one of two underground stations serving 3 different lines. The Blue Bells Hotel is in a very elegant part of Notting Hill but is being renovated at the moment which is perhaps why the promised welcome drink was not forthcoming.

its location less than five minutes walk from metro Notting Hill Gate. The friendly staff and free luggage storage is ideal for those who arrive early It must say that when we arrived with my girlfriend, the second floor of the hotel was completely unusable because of renovation works. In fact, our room located on the third floor was definitely painted and arranged recently. Overall, since we had only sleep there, that was okay.
